Living Cozumel

Now that you’re here, what to do???

Sure, there’s the diving, and the diving and of course, the more diving, but what else??

The local scene has many restaurans, bars and clubs to eat, drink, dance and meet and mingle, all within walking distance from! Join your friends for a night on the town or a relaxing time on the one of the many beach clubs in town.

Now that you’ve checked out the cantinas and sampled the local cervezas,  its time to check out the other side of the island: what we locals call the Wild Side.

What’s there??

Actually, not a lot, except for some of the finest secluded beaches that stretch out for miles and miles. Its a great place to spend a late afternoon, or enjoy picnic lunch. And of course there are a few beach bars with great views, drinks and vibes.

There is a natural “blow-hole” that is fascinating to watch when the surf is up. It is like watching a whale spout water out every 20 seconds. Cozumel and mother nature never blended so well together!

Remember, Cozumel, the island of the Swallows, is the home of the Mayan Goddess IxTzel, the goddess of fertility. Check out the Ruins at San Gervasio and see the Temple
