Instructor Development Course (IDC)

What's Included

GoPro Blue Magic’s  IDC program is one of the best values around.  Please note that this is the full cost of the course. There are no hidden or extra costs.

Instructor Development Course (IDC) – $ 3348

  • IDC cost          $1,450 including FREE accommodations, EFR Instructor course                                
  • Materials:              $748 – IDC crew pack / EFR Manual and PADI specialty materials
  • PADI Fees:             $1150 – IDC/IE and EFRI application                           
  • Total              $ 3348 for your complete IDC

Assistant Instructor (AI) – $ 1032 
5 Day course
$ 450 course $ 500 books and $ 82 PADI fees. 

Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) – $ 1399 
6 Day course 
$ 650 course and $ 749 PADI fees.

 

Instructor Development Course (IDC) – $ 995

Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) – $ 895 5 Day program including accommodation

EFR with Care for Children Instructor Course – $ 430

In addition to the above materials, IDC candidates must have a personal copy of a Recreational Dive Planner (RDP), eRDPML, a pocket mask, and a surface marker bouy.

* Please note that if you already have some of the needed materials the cost will be adjusted. The PADI Divemaster Application cost is included here, but must be paid separately.

All interns MUST, for their own protection carry dive insurance. We recommend insurance from Divers Alert Network (DAN) click here for more information.

Payment Terms:

A US$500 deposit must accompany your application. Once you are accepted, this is non-refundable.

Balance of payment must be received no less than 45 days before the start of your scheduled internship.

Please note that breakfast, lunch, dinner, transportation to Cozumel, Insurance (mandatory) and personal expenses are NOT included. Depending on your personal spending habits, you should budget between US$500 to $1000 for food, entertainment and local transportation.

Deposit is not refundable
